ACC expansion, everyone has their favorites

I've looked at geography and academics and numbers, and have to admit my favorites have short comings

I want Navy, Cincinitti and WVU in that order

While I have not changed my mind, if you look at geography (what do they add and are they nearby), academic tradition, academic sharing, sports currently, and sports traditionally, they all have their faults,

Navy while they are academically great, academic sharing allowing students to transfer is non-existent.

Cincinnati is not an academic powerhouse, but is local and offers new markets has great BBall and respectible in Football, and a foothold in Ohio. For what ever that is worth.

WVU is academically questionable. They have great athletics for now. They are somewhat below Louisville when the ACC took Louisville in. They are also in a state that may not be able to support a P5 school much longer.

Based off Time Magizine, the Census department puts WVA at 1.78 million. Remember in 1950 they were approaching Virginia''s Population. As of 2014 (number just released), West Virginia is still bleeding 28,000 people a year.. By 2020 that would mean that West Virginia will have just just over 1.6 million. Guys that is a Lynchburg every 2 years!!!!!

It has not been proven that a state with that low a population can support a P5 football program. Guys that is nearly 2,500 people a month. Or nearly 100 a day. This has been going on since 1950 or 2/3 of a century, with no sign of a let up. And the government has no plan to stop it,

A lot of you like UCONN. their Academics are good, the control Connecticut, but is also bleeding 3,00 people a month. They have already dropped behind Virginia in population. Now Conn decline has been off an on and is not as consistent as West Virginia. But you should consider it.

Illinios is also bleeding people but I cannot see any school in that state on the ACC's short list.

I have examined a lot of material. Please research Temple and give me opinions.

I never though I be asking this question.

They can give us access to eastern PA, Philly and somewhat into New Jersey.
Their basketball tradition is very good, their Olympic Sports are traditional, and they have resurrected their football program. Look at where it is now, not were it was 20 years ago. In addition they should be a plus academically.
