I talked to someone who knows Kelly on a personal level this past weekend.

There were some questions below regarding why she wouldn't give Brooks a try. Short answer is that she just doesn't fit his style of play and knew it from when she was originally recruited. Brooks likes to run the floor that obviously isn't conducive to Kelly's game.
