Delaney turned down $5mil per year from Barcelona for this deal w/ ATL..


Which is what he has been making for several years. It was a 2 year deal so $10 million total. He has been making his bones in Europe as a certified Euroleague star, made himself wealthy, and decided to make his NBA transition now that he has a guaranteed deal with the Hawks (which was more important than the money as far as his NBA prospects go)
