Pro golf watch 7/21 - 7/24

Wagner, de Jonge and the PGA Tour are in Ontario this week for the RBC Canadian Open. After a missed cut last week, Wagner dropped to 128th on the FedEx Cup standings. de Jonge put together his best 4 days of the season, shooting under 70 each round, good for a T11 finish. Points awarded for the Barbasol are only 60% of what they are for a normal strength event, so he only moves up to 155th in the standings. Unless there's a top finish this week, neither will be in the PGA Championship next week, so that leaves the Canadian Open and 3 more tournaments to get back inside the top 125.

Last week, Drew Weaver had his best finish in 5 starts on the WCT thus far this year, a T23 that earned him another start this week in the Utah Championships. He's sitting at 159th on the money list, but with 6 more events left in the season, still some chances to move up and see what happens.

Jurrian van der Vaart is back in action on the ECT after sitting out last week. He has made cuts in 8 of 10 starts this season and sits 13th on the moneylist. The ECT is in France this week and he is currently T56 after an even par first round.

Go Hokies!
