I didn't see that. But for ESPN specifically, it makes sense.

If the Big XII or another conference chose to launch one, they would need another partner like Fox or NBC.

ESPN's college conferences are SEC, ACC, and AAC plus Texas. I don't see them having a network for the AAC.
