Remember the big 12 has the fewest households

The big 12 has the fewest number of cable boxes of any of the power conferences. Half of the schools are in Texas and the largest school has a network of their own. Long term the conference is in trouble even if they add 4 teams.

The key thing to look for is a grant of rights extension. Lack of one signals Texas and Oklahoma want all of their options open
