Texas has said the only way they'd get rid of LHN


is [if] they joined another conference.

With the struggles ESPN has had with that network there most likely is no LHN beyond the current deal, which isn't a great long term solution for [Texas].

So the question is: would Texas rather get into whatever other P5 conference they want and bring who they want or would they rather wait while milking ESPN for their LHN check and take the risk of filling an empty spot in a conference that isn't optimal for them?
