An "island problem" in the Big Ten is a lot smaller than it would be

in the ACC. So it wouldn't shock me if Texas decided to be the only member from the state in the Big Ten. The only schools that may throw a monkey wrench into that plan would be Houston and/or Texas Tech. I believe Texas flies to Lubbock for away games. So unless the "travel partner" is located in either DFW, Waco, or Houston, then Texas would be flying to all away games regardless of whether it is in the ACC or Big Ten.
