I have a co-worker who is a Mizzou fan (from the state went to a smaller

school in the state). I asked him that same question since he heavily follows the team and has friends with inside connections. He said the old President wanted to join the Big Ten badly. Since the school made a change at President, this President is very pro-SEC. So he doesn't think Missouri would leave the SEC for the Big Ten unless the money is too good to pass up or there's another change in leadership. As he put it, "Right now Missouri is making pretty damn good money in the SEC and has moved on from having any thoughts about the Big Ten."
