I don't disagree. Hence why they evenly split the 4 Cali schools

and went with a North-South alignment. The reason I said the Pac-16 would be split into Original and Expansion (or West and East) is because 1 of their posters (appears to be one of the more knowledgeable ones there) said that would be the only way the 4 Cali schools could play each other in a 9-game conference schedule. It sounds like the Pac-16 would prefer the 7 division games and 2 rotating cross-division games. The Expansion would be on board because their 2 rotating games would always be 1 Cali school and 1 Great Northwest school.
