It really is close

In 15 seasons AI scored an average of 26.7 pts. per game by attempting only 3.7 three pt. shots a game. He also averaged 6.2 assists, 3.6 turn-overs, 3.7 rebounds, and 2.2 steals.

Curry, in 7 years has averaged only 22.4 pts. per game while taking 7.3 three pt. attempts per game. He averages 6.9 assists, 3.2 turn-overs, 4.3 rebounds, and 1.8 steals.

Give Curry another 8 years in the nba and lets see where he ends up. No matter where it is, there is no disputing that his shooting skills are some of the best ever and there is also no disputing that AI was one of the hardest playing scrappy scoring guards ever who got the vast majority of his 25,000 scoring points from the two point bucket plus "and-ones".
