Speaking of "old school" and "geographic integrity," if I had my way...


I'd want to bring back small conferences with round-robin play. Give me the Pac 10, the (actual) Big Ten, Big 8, SWC, the old eastern schools (Penn State, Pitt, Syracuse, WVU, etc.), smaller SEC, smaller ACC. With some variations as conditions warrant.

8 team CFP (7 champs; just 1 at-large from indies, G5, or non-P5 champs). Bring back rivalries.

Minority opinion, I know. But there it is.
