I'm talking about transitioning that market from a ND and Big Ten market into a ND and ACC market. My point is it is not happening without UConn, and if UConn goes into the Big Ten it is definitely not happening.

That region has been flooded with Notre Dame and Big Ten games for decades. Today when they watch Notre Dame games, they will see a whole lot of ACC teams playing. It would help for them to see a whole lot of ACC teams playing when they watch UConn as well. That's the whole point.

You're talking about those there that won't play along. That percentage can be quantified. It's about 35%. The percentages show up on the interactive fan map. It is statewide. The Big Ten fans are closer to NYC, and they are mostly Penn State and Michigan.

By contrast look at New Jersey. There are less than 20% Rutgers fans across the vast majority of New Jersey. Rutgers doesn't deliver New Jersey at all. But UConn does deliver Connecticut.
