Even if UConn joins the ACC, there is no guarantee it will happen


Also, they will still get to see ACC games without UConn because BC, Notre Dame, and Syracuse games will be shown in CT on the ACCN, ESPN family of channels, and maybe even some of the regional channels. Just because the games are being shown in CT doesn't mean people will watch them and that doesn't change regardless if UConn is or isn't a member of the ACC.

As far as NJ goes, it doesn't matter if Rutgers carries the state or not. There is a large percentage of Big Ten alumni living in the NYC metro area (which includes NJ and CT). Also, keep in mind that in 2014 the Big Ten announced it was opening a New York City office. So the Big Ten will not be leaving the Mid-Atlantic/New England mega region any time soon.
