According to the schedule the Lady Vols are coming to Blacksburg
on November 27th. Even though the Lady Vols have seen a slight decline during the post-Pat Summit (RIP) era (went 22-14 and lost to Syracuse in the Elite Eight), it would still be a great signature win for Coach Brooks.
NC-Asheville: last year went 26-7 and won the Big South, but lost to Kentucky 85-31 in the opening round of the NCAA T
Georgetown: went 16-14 last year
Presbyterian: went 18-13 last year
UCF: went 7-23 last year
Coll. of Charleston: went 11-20 last year
Tennessee: see above
Nebraska (ACC/Big Ten Challenge): went 18-13 last year
Gardner-Webb: went 19-12 last year
Central Conn. State: went 12-18 last year
Bowling Green: went 10-18 last year
Auburn: went 20-13 last year
Radford: went 18-13 last year
Delaware State: went 9-21 last year
Assuming the team doesn't approach the games as a "gimme win," then I do think VT should win at least 5 (of 13) games; UCF, CoC, CCSU, BG, and DE State. I do think the team has the potential to eek out a few more wins. If nothing else the team should be better prepared for ACC and hopefully can finish somewhere in the middle of the pack.
At Best: 8-5 or 9-4 (maybe 10-3 with a some help from Lady Luck)
At Worst: 5-8 or 6-7 [Post edited by VTHokie2000 at 08/26/2016 1:02PM]
