Who they lost to


OKSt lost to Iowa State on a Thursday night ESPN game the start of the weekend after that Stanford got blown out by Oregon at home. Either one of those teams don't lose, they are playing for national championship.

Also, Alabama had one loss, 9-6 to LSU, the #1 team in the county, and that happened a week before the teams ahead of them in the rankings lost.

In the polls, it matters more when you lose rather than who you lose to. In the case of Stanford, they lost by 21+ late in the season, and OKSt lost to ISU late in the season. If those had been in September, one of them goes to the BCS.
