Ya' know, I get the free speech thing

but this is plain stupid. It is an insult to anyone who imperiled his life for the flag. It is divisive in a country that calls itself united. It calls attention to one man, a football star, so his ego gets stroked. And what, pray tell, does it accomplish?

There's an abundance of things I don't like the way they're done in this country. But ya' know what? We're all in this together. I accept the fact that some people have gained power and do things the way they want. I still have the ability to vote my choice and donate to who I want. The system allows ordinary people to do that without drawing attention to themselves. It works, and I don't need no stinking 2 bit face in the camera jerk telling me how to run my life and embarass our country to boot.

So I've decided I'm not going to watch NFL opening weekend because the NFL has a history of fostering abuse of women. So let's see if my rebellious act accomplishes anything. Forget it, I'll watch some game some where. It is, after all, the national past time...kinda' like flying old glory. Mama, Chevy, and apple pie.

Kaepernick, shut your face and go brood in a kulag somewhere, see if you get some appreciation from the commandant Boris. Idiot. America is still the best place on earth to be. Why do all the earthlings want to come here? Why do the evil ones hate us? Because evil can not stand the presence of good. That is absolute truth that you, Kaepernick, can't change by ignoring your patriotic duty to honor the flag that gave you your ill conceived right to be an idiot.
