Like it or not the first amendment guarantees his action
It's a basic right and a "pledge of allegiance" or standing for the national anthem are not requirements of being a citizen or a member of our society. You can boo him or shun him or whatever you wish but he does have a right to express himself however he chooses as long as he does not interfere with another person's rights. Boo him all to hell - that is your first amendment right just as his silly protest is his right. Don't hate on the foundations of this country just because this guy might have offended you by expressing his opinion guaranteed by the Bill of Rights.
