Not sure where you're getting your facts, that isn't remotely true


Yes, the state has lost population over the last 60 years or so. But it's not NEARLY as dire as you paint it.

In 1950, West Virginia had slightly more than 2 million people. In 1990, it had a smidge under 1.8 million. But it actually GREW slightly in 2000, going to slightly above 1.8 million people. In the next decade, they added about 45000 residents. Over the last half decade, they're about stagnant.

I'm not arguing that the state of West Virginia is in great shape. But it isn't in the dire straights I've seen you argue in multiple posts. It won't be falling behind Maine in population anytime soon.
