These same ADs and Presidents were

played the ACCCG in empty stadiums in Florida, signed an absolutely horrendous initial contract w/ ESPN, and watched UNC cheat their way to titles?

Frankly, I think many ACC presidents and ADs are content with the status quo. They don't want to rock the boat and have bigger and more immediate things to worry about. The NC schools are down with the Greensboro status quo. Wake is in a better place than they should be. Duke has more money than they need to operate an elite 15 man bball squad. UNC is in control. NC St. just got to pick their preferred bowl game.

UVA is oK w/ the status quo too. UVA isn't as reliant upon football and TV revenue as most.

Then the new ACC schools are allowing this to happen as well. Like Wake, BC isn't going to rock the boat. They know they're lucky to be here. Neither is Cuse, Pitt, or Louisville probably.

Furthermore, VT was just happy to be in the room and rubbing elbows w/ ACC leaders this last decade I fear. I hope that's changed.

And now Clemson and FSU have nowhere else to go. Though their kicked and screaming has at least helped. Their kicking and screaming has led to at least SOME positive movement in this league.

So sorry. I don't think the ADs or presidents are collectively "all over it." Not all of them at least. They sure haven't been in the past. That's how the top league in the game turns into a second tier league in a little over a decade.
