The only potential issue I have with the ACC adding UConn
is whether UConn would be another BC/Duke/Wake or could it become another Louisville. Right now it plays in a 40K and I think has only sold it out for the Michigan game. If UConn joined the ACC, then could its fanbase grow quick enough in the next 20 years to justify expanding the stadium by 10K or even 20K? The current perception of ACC football is it doesn't have enough "football schools." If the ACC adds another "basketball school" that plays football, then that school will need to show the critics wrong that it can have a passionate football fanbase. Otherwise, ACC fans might a similar attitude as they do about BC, Pitt, Syracuse; good schools that don't really help improve the ACC's image in football (at least for the time being).
