That is how ND fans view things


In case you are wondering why there is zero clamor for ND to join a football conference from ND alumni and fans, this is why.

They generally put little value on division or conference football titles, or even membership at all in a football conference.

They don't think that they are missing a thing being outside of a football conference.

I guess that it is because ND football has never been in a conference in its 128 years of existence.

Non-membership is the natural order of things for ND fans.

There are maybe two or three ND fans involved in any CR or conference related message board, tops.

There are almost no ND fans here, Land Thieves, the CSNbbs board, the Big 12 board, the UConn board....anywhere.

Maybe one or two here or there, but that is it.

Why? The vast majority simply do not care about realignment or conferences, at all, especially when it comes to football.

I think that it is safe to say that most ignore CR and conferences in general.

That is not to say their views are right or wrong, but others need to understand why there is no great interest among ND fans in CR or joining for football, even with the playoffs involved.
