Seems like Tech's ranking has been dropping since we joined the ACC.

If I recall, Tech was ranked in the mid-upper 60's in the early-mid 2000's. Since joining the ACC, Tech has dropped slightly or maintained the same ranking. ACC membership hasn't benefited Tech as much as many want to believe. Pitt has also dropped a few spots since joining the ACC. NCSU and FSU have moved up in the rankings. Louisville has dropped. I think they were something like 164 when they first joined the ACC?

The USN&WR rankings are biased as are all these college rankings. USN&WR favors medical/law/liberal arts over engineering and sciences. That's why I like Forbes and Kiplinger's better. ;)
