I agree....


ACC membership has improved Tech's athletic programs over the past decade.

Numerous posters have said that conference membership helps improve a member's academics I just never bought into that. All it really does is place you in a better neighborhood. Everyone has a nice house, but they all have different jobs with different incomes. The ACC has a nice selection of schools with quality academic reputations, but each school is on their own when it comes to the quality of education they want to provide. Being associated with many of the ACC's fine academic institutions might have improved Tech's academic perception among outsiders, but those familiar with Tech knows it has always been a good school academically.
