You are correct. There are a HUGE number of things that can de-rail a kid from athletic success. Yes, I am being very optimistic in my assessment that those bad things won't happen. But, being positive puts my mind in a place where I can be of most help, I believe. The worst case scenario is that I have a 6" 8", 210 pound babe magnet!
