Would you give a client names of competitors & proprietary specs?

A framer I've used - they frame my enlargements for client's office walls - has been asked by our mutual client to provide names of frame styles, mat colors, proprietary computerized mat cutting specs, etc. I've shot for this client for 10 years and the framer's worked with them 15. We've probably done 40-50 pieces of really nice 30"x40" building project wall art for this developer.

Client had a real marketing director up until early 2015 and as of today is using its second administrative gopher since then to deal with framer and me. Neither gopher's had any marketing experience/education much less the inclination to learn how to relate and grow. Both gophers had just moved to CLT from way out of state, so they don't have a history with local suppliers they'd prefer to use. Client contact is the same good ol' boy we've been working with all along.

Framer's freaking out. I told her to not share ANY info - if client is trying to change photographer and/or framer, we should not assist.
