What's so proprietary about the specs? The picture of course involves plenty of artistic work (staging, lighting, touchup, etc.) but mat cutting? Really?

Does the client own the work once you have given it to them (i.e. they can reproduce it) or do you retain the copyright unless it's written in the contract?
