Well, the first quarter of UTenn, and then BC and ECU...
I know it is a small sample size, but both ECU and BC have better than average defenses, and when VT doesn't turn the ball over, or at least wins the turnover battle... the sky is the limit.
I think it will take a game against UL to really know exactly where we stand, but a game against CU or FSU may be just as good.
Bottom line I'm sold on VT, but they need to keep winning and improving.
Honestly that 1st QTR against UTenn, showed us the potential this offense has. We fumbled that game away, but when we cleaned that up... BC and ECU hardly had a chance.
UNC seems to allow some points against their D, but their offense is capable of racking up more points than most teams, at least teams with an average defense.
Miami probably concerns me most looking at our regular season schedule, but ... well, there are a few teams like Pitt and ND that will be tough outs for VT, too.
We are legit, but we have to prove it by winning big games. No one game will prove anything... it's the body of work this season.
