I completely agree and that's not even up for debate...


I just don't think Rice (Conference USA), Tulane (AAC) or Furman (SoCon) are affected in their academic standing because of the athletic conference they belong to. However, they would all probably kill to be in the ACC along with Duke, Wake, Miami, Notre Dame, Pitt, BC, etc. And if they were so lucky to join the ACC, the needle on their academic profile wouldn't move up or down very much, if at all.
