Its frankly very easy its managing the big 12 GOR
Its all expires in 2025. Key question, does any institution wants to challenge the GOR and risk of failure in court with high capital to leave??? Texas wants Oklahoma to be the one to raise the fit and leave for the Big 10 and Baylor is forced out due to conduct and with it take the brunt of the legal action by the conference. Texas and rest see if its determine that the GOR is broken because of precedent. Texas can just slip away without any impact.
Same with kansas. (the rest is just sitting back and see how it will clear out. Some more vulnerable than others). For the others, they are all being stealthy because none want to be accused of tampering.
Key is the Big 12 schools are all for themselves, and all looking for the institutions best interest and they all know the Big 12 is boxed in with limited revenue streams and Texas calls the shots. period. Just that simple. Also conference business is put out on social media by insiders instead of Extreme confidential discussions that need to be handled and all the institutions let things slip to manage their perspective. all not good
