You're still jumping at the chance to be ND's head coach.

Say your theory of recruits not caring about ND history has merit; the coaches are still old enough where they still want to be a part of that storied history. Who knows, maybe 30 years from now, ND will be forced to start scheduling MAC and Conference USA games and lose all appeal, but I doubt it. ND (like it or not) is the New York Yankees of college football and will always be in a position to attract good coaches.
