The 4 leagues are going to work together in divvying up the Big12.


And Oklahoma St. and Kansas St. add new states for the SEC. They are not ideal candidates for expansion, but they are of SOME value. I also feel the SEC will not be as reluctant to add a second team for Texas. Texas is so HUGE in area, population, and football intensity that the addition of a second Texas school will not be prevented in the way a second South Carolina school is prevented.

And the odd numbers are due to additional programs being considered for expansion and it still being murky about which Big12 programs are left out. I think Iowa St., Baylor, and/or TCU could be left out. WVU is not a perfect fit for the ACC either, but they are the only program with a pulse that the ACC could possibly add. UCONN, and of course ND as full members, are in consideration.
