He told us why. Swoff wasn't sharing his intentions.


I think they were fearing Swofford getting Notre Dame into the championship game equation. Or they were just trying to keep the ACC weak. Either way, the ACC leadership should have been out gathering support.

And OSU and Michigan don't mind playing Rutgers one bit. Both sell out 100kplus stadiums and it's nice for them to take their road show into alumni dense New Jersey. they don't mind recruiting that area here or there too. Much better recruiting and many more alumni there than Nebraska. An easy W isn't all that bad either. They've got plenty of other games to build up their strength of schedule.
