But all the king's horses and all the king's men couldn't get BYU into the Big 12. And the Lt. Governor of Texas was rebuffed in is demand that Houston be given a place. I guess there might be some noise made by politicians if little brothers are left behind, but I think it will be futile.
Suppose you had two teenage sons who were studying violin. One of them is gifted and is invited to study at Julliard. Would you tell Julliard that they can't have him unless his little brother goes too? Would you keep big brother at home if Julliard refused little brother?
There may be just as many pols supporting the moves of the big brothers as there are resisting them.
