They like many here believe the "curse" is real

Sad but true. The facts are there's no looking over them this years as has been the case in years past. They're a good team. VT is a good team. The game lies smack in the middle of the road to the ACCCG. Add on to it VT has the sting of the last two years to remind the vast majority of this team of the frustrating losses and VT should be focused and fired up. Oh yeah, to date, VT has demonstrated itself to be a more well rounded team with no glaring weakness to exploit. Pitt on the other hand is one dimensional on O and has a suspect pass D. VT isn't perfect but no glaring holes.

Said earlier this week that this game lines up more like ECU than SU - Pitt is a better team than ECU for sure - but given the recent history with Pitt, VT will come with the A game and win this as you suggested in line with the Miami game. I think Miami was a great match up to have the week before because they are similar in style and big time athletes at skill positions although Miami is more balanced in their attack. I'm expecting a win as a result.
