Especially true when unbalanced conf. schedules are considered.


Look at Virginia Tech. VT hasn't played Louisville, Clemson, or FSU from the Atlantic. Those are perhaps the three best teams in the league. VT avoided them all. It's just an unfair set up.

Ohio State played both Wisconsin and Nebraska from the B1G west. And they beat them both.

PSU played neither.

Also, PSU barely beat the Bucks at home. Play it on a neutral field and it's safe to say OSU wins 8 or 9 of those games.

Anyhow, with all that considered, it's ridiculous to feel the best teams don't sometimes lose their divisions. They play different schedules.
