So the Bibbs you described is the Hill we are seeing this year. So I can't see how we can afford to play both Bibbs and Hill at the same time if they are in fact playing the same type game. We need for one of them to be able to make things happen off the dribble. It seems to me Buzz is trying to get Bibbs to be more of that type of player. So he is struggling at times with that change.

In addition if Bibbs hopes to be able to play pro ball, either in the NBA or even in Europe, he will need to become more than just a jump shooter. So it's possible Buzz is trying to prepare him for pro ball after college.
