I always believed that a one loss Notre Dame can...

make it to the CFP. Notre Dame usually has a competitive schedule.
They play USC, Stanford, Navy , and several Top 25 ACC teams along with schools like Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, Texas A&M, and Georgia on their future schedules. Unless there are 4 undefeated 13 win teams in the top 4 (which will likely never happen), a 1 loss Notre Dame (with their football schedule) has a very good chance of making the CFP. Notre Dame may not get in with 1 loss if that loss is to a school like Army or Temple, but a loss to a top 25 team probably won't hurt them.
