What's this?

Because the conferences don't play enough games against each other


it is very subjective on how people judge a team's "entire body of work." Even within a conference it sometimes isn't clear. Is VT the second best team in the ACC because it played in the CCG? Third best team behind Clemson and Louisville because they had better conference records? Fourth best team behind Clemson, Louisville, and Florida State because of where they show up in the Committee's poll?
