Consistent w/ other complaints I share on this board. Enough's enough.


I'm shocked by how so many on this board are clinging to the "Swofford's done a good job" mantra. See the post below.

Swofford's done a good job for the Swoffords, Raycom, and Tobacco Road (especially UNC). Other than that, this conference has underperformed for its teams under his leadership. This conference has certainly done little for VT. It's provided a landing spot as the Big East was crumbling, but VT had to essentially force its way in. The ACC didn't want us in the first place.

We all know now that VT would have been much much better off had it went to the SEC, or maybe even the B1G.

Again, I just don't understand the pro Swofford crowd here. Is there any inherent reason Gamecocks and Hawkeyes should be bringing in tens of millions more dollars from sports than Hokies each year? That's what's happening and it primarily has to do with the conferences the schools find themselves in. Think about that next time you send in a Hokie Club payment.
