The fine IMO was to protect one of its members (Wake).


I'm not offended that we got fined, but the max seems draconian. And I'm not offended that Wake didn't get fined (although this should be a lesson to them and everyone else about sensitive information). If game plan info is so valuable (as evident by the 25k fine), maybe the information should treated like classified state information, and punishments should be handed out for careless handling of these materials.

I am, however, sickened by the inaction against UNC so far. All ACC members are equal, but some are more equal than others.
