I just chew the fat on here with solely good intentions. I know VT has a pretty good home in the ACC. I do think the SEC brand would only greatly enhance the Hokie football program. Top athletes in Virginia and in current nearby ACC footprint states would often shun the ACC for an opportunity to play in the SEC. They would declare they want to play the best college football and that is SEC. The SEC would open recruiting avenues for VT in the SEC states as well.

I have heard athletes in Texas & Oklahoma where Arkansas recruits talk of wanting to play in the SEC for years. Many fans instate said the addition of the Aggies would hurt the Hogs recruiting in Texas in that respect. The last few years have shown that to be absolutely correct.
