If b12 ever breaks up- and the other power conferences make a slice on the market brand name schools and schools such as Iowa state wvu Kansas state and Texas tech are "screen out" and determined ineligible for the championship power community simply because of tv market share or Brand name rather than robustness of the athletic dept in terms of financial viability or sports offerings academics etc- I'm sure it could end up into the courts- I'm sure attorneys are looking at legal impacts- I suspect the conferences to minimize conference legal vulnerability and long term court proceedings take these schools in a negotiated settlement - all to discussed in a public forum
