Sometimes people act like Michigan, Ohio and Pennsylvania are dead...

All 3 still have large populations and are not losing population. But they're not growing rapidly either. As long as there are decent sized metropolitan areas like Detroit, Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati, Piitsburgh and Philadelphia, football recruiting will be fine in thise states for a while (long after I'm 6 feet under).

I know Tech has recently recruited some Michigan kids with another good one already on the team as a redshirt. Plus UVa and Tech (and many many more) are always in the hunt for Pennsylvania kids. And Ohio is still a great football state.

I don't disagree that the rustbelt id growing slower than the southeast, but it's not as gloom and doom as they say.
