Not dead, but the projections are pronounced.


Of course those states aren't dead and will remain close to their current sizes for the next 25 years. But by comparison, in the next 25 years:

Texas to add 15 million people to grow to 40 million.
Florida to add 10 million people to grow to 28 million.
North Carolina to add 3 million people to grow to 12 million.
Georgia to add 3 million people to grow to 13 million.
Virginia to add 2 million people to grow to 10 million.
South Carolina to add 1.5 million people to grow to 6.25 million.

By comparison,
Michigan to remain stagnant at 10 million people.
Ohio to remain stagnant at 11.75 million people.
Pennsylvania to remain stagnant at 13 million people.

Basically, Virginia, Georgia, and North Carolina become very similar in size. And the growth areas will have the lower median age. All good trends for the ACC.
