And how on earth would an NCAA boycott help with gun violence?


I'm sure the NCAA would speak out against it, but removing money making games from cities struggling with gun violence would make the problem worse. It's pretty much every American city anyhow. Chicago's statistically middle of the pack. Oddly, NY and LA are WAY down the list, but from a global perspective, they are quite deadly cities when compared to others in the developed world.

Anyhow, the NCAA, along with the NBA and others, are actually accomplishing something with removing games from NC. As a NC citizen, I can tell you it's just a matter of time before that law is changed. The governor's already gone, and if change doesn't occur soon, others will be dumped too.
