It would be interesting to know if ESPN has an order.


I would think that ESPN would put highest value on the big football brands like FSU, Miami, Clemson, Virginia Tech, Notre Dame. I realize ND isn't in the league but on the schedule. I also think they would put value on the big men's basketball brands like Duke, UNC, Syracuse, and Louisville.

Outside of that the ACC puts value on the academic heavyweights and on members that help the league enter expanded markets like Boston College, Pitt, and Georgia Tech. Then NC State, UVA, and Wake Forest get to tag along because they are friends of UNC and protected by UNC. UVA helps with the academic part and at winning at olympic sports others don't care as much as we do about. We like talking about the Director's Cup, but I'd like a better football team. Working on it.
