My thoughts


1) I trust Whit in coaching hires. He has demonstrated that whoever he hires he believes gives us a chance to win. Based on his hires to dates and their success I think we have to give him the benefit of the doubt.

2) We did a national search versus a down the hall hire. We had an ex head coach on staff so we could have did a down the hall hire. We choose to do a national search and hire the best candidate.

3) I think here resumeis strong. She led for a successful LSU program while she was there. And was on staff for a successful UNC team. She has coached in ACC and SEC. And she was a successful player. If we weren't hiring a previous head coach I think she has excellent credentials as an assistant.


Those are my thoughts.
