Another theory

I am wondering if the injury Sy suffered before the NCS game is part of the reason he hasn't seen as many minutes recently. Not because he is still injured but the bad ankle may have prevented him from as much on the court practice time since.

You see the offensive game plan for the Syracuse and ND games seemed to be a bit different than what I had seen to date. If Sy wasn't able to practice as much he may have been hesitant when we had the ball. Probably reading too much into it but Buzz does seem to change things up game to game.

I did like what Sy brought to the game vs ND when he got on the court. Up to that point I sensed LeDay was playing a bit timid even somewhat intimidated like. But when Zach reentered the game for the final 12 or so minutes he played really hard and was very very effective. That was a big part of how we tied the game up.

Remember over the final 4 minutes or so there were a couple of give and go rotations between Seth Allen and Zach LeDay. They just seem to be in sync with each other. Probably too early to expect that same chemistry with Sy in the game.
