I'm not sure which coaches they are talking about.


There was a great hire for baseball. The second men's basketball coach has been a great hire. It remains to be seen what the second football coach hired will be. The same with men's lacrosse, softball, and men's swimming.

I'm not sure we got the best women's basketball coach we could have gotten. And it was another example of hanging on to a failing coach in Debbie Ryan while watching Dawn Staley slip away to South Carolina when she was available.

Littlepage does get credit for running an athletics department that provides support for the vast portfolio of varsity programs rather than giving all of the resources to football while starving other programs. It has resulted in a decade plus in the top 20 of the Director's Cup. But we need football contributing. Hanging on the Mike London didn't show it had appropriate priority.
